Mike + Courtney 5.31.14

When I first met Mike and Courtney for their engagement shoot, I immediately knew I loved them. They’re both super fun, laid back, and sappy romantics like myself. Being able to photograph their wedding day was such a pleasure, everyone was happy, having fun, and accepting of me intruding into their worlds. And despite the sprinkles we had on and off in the morning, the sun game bursting through the clouds just in time for photos to begin.

From the start of our email conversations, I knew Courtney was super organized (yay!!). She actually planned her entire wedding almost by herself! Everything went of without a hitch and at one point Courtney stated that it had all come out exactly as she had envisioned it would. So awesome to hear a happy bride say things like that! And truly, everything came together perfectly for their wedding day, from the rustic elegance of the venue and decor to the woodland feel of her ceremony, it was beautiful!

Huge thanks to the amazing Emily Herzig for her gorgeous floral arrangements and to the incredible ladies at Bishop Farm – Annie, Heather, and Maggie. These ladies seriously rock it out on a wedding day and are amazing to work with!!!
